Mini Cycle Hubs
Mini Cycle Hubs should provide secure parking at local train stations, and public places such as City Hall, The National Museum of Wales, The Millenium Centre, Mermaid Quay, hospitals, leisure centres, etc.
Mini Cycle Hubs are being built at railway stations across the UK and by public buildings, enabling people living an inconvenient walking distance from the railway station to cycle to connect with train services.
Access to the hubs is via a smart card, for which a deposit is paid CCTV provides further protection. Parking is free.
Bicycle tyre pumps are also provided.
Secure/guarded parking needs to be provided at events and festivals in Cardiff. These can be temporary installations that allow bicycles to be left with no fear of theft or vandalism.
These events include the Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival and Cardiff Harbour Festival at Cardiff Bay, and the Cardiff Carnival in the city centre.

Mini Cycle Hubs are being installed throughout England.
